约翰福音 8:1-11；
唱诗：诗篇：51:1；

……没有人定你的罪吗？她说，主啊，没有。耶稣说，我也不定你的罪。去吧。从此不要再犯罪了。(约 8:10-11)

想像一下，在犯罪的时候被抓个正着会是怎么样的情景。我们总是小心谨慎地犯罪，生怕别人知道，但有时还是被发现了。在今天的经文中，我们读到文士和法利赛人如何把一个正在行淫的妇人带到主耶稣面前，他们对主说，“夫子，这妇人是正行淫之时被拿的。摩西在律法上吩咐我们，把这样的妇人用石头打死。你说该把她怎么样呢？”

诚然这个案子没有任何疑点。然而，我们也读到，“他们说这话，乃试探耶稣，要得着告他的把柄”（约8 :6）。如果主耶稣说 “不”，他们就会指责他违反律法。如果主说 “是”，他们就会谴责他没有怜悯之心。这个陷阱似乎是天衣无缝的。

但是主耶稣沉默了一段时间，然后说道，“你们中间谁是没有罪的，谁就可以先拿石头打她”。主耶稣没有掉入他们的陷阱，反而把他们变成了当事人。他揭露了他们利用这个女人作恶的的残酷企图。

没有罪？指控者一个一个地离开了，注意是从老到少无一例外。最后只剩下主一人，主问她说，“没有人定你的罪吗？” 那女人回答说，“主啊，没有。”

主说，“我也不定你的罪。去吧。从此不要再犯罪了”。请注意，主称她的行为是”罪的生活“。在奸淫的事上也有赦免的恩典，但必须有真正的悔改。我们必须学会与罪决裂，并与自己软弱的本性争战。任何想得到赦免的人都必须有真正的悔改。

思考问题：当我们不悔改的时候会发生什么，特别是在性的方面？

LEAVE YOUR LIFE OF SIN

"...Has no one condemned you?" "No one, sir," she said. 'Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. Go now and leave your life of sin. (John 8:10-11)

Imagine being discovered in a sinful act.We try to sin discreetly so that no one knows, but sometimes we are found out. In today's part of Scripture, we read how the Jewish teachers and Pharisees bring to Jesus a woman caught in adultery. They say to the Lord," Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?"

Surely there is no doubt in this case. We also read, however, that “[they] were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him" (John 8:6). If the Lord Jesus says, "No," they will accuse him of breaking the law.If he says,"Yes,"they will denounce him as a man without compassion. It appears that the trap is well set.

But the Lord Jesus ignores them for a time, and then says, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." instead of falling into their trap, he puts them on the spot. He unmasks their cruel attempt to use this woman for their evil purposes.

Without sin? One by one, the accusers leave, notably from the oldest to the youngest. Finally, the Lord is left alone with the woman and he asks her," Has no one condemned you? "Her answer is,"No one, sir." 

The Lord declares, "Then neither do I condemn you. Go now and leave your life of sin." Notice that the Lord calls her actions a “life of sin". There is forgiveness, also in matters of adultery, but there must truly be repentance. We must learn to break with sins and battle our weak nature. Whoever wants to really be forgiven must also truly repent.

Question: What happens when we do not repent of sin, especially in matters of sexuality?
