The life is full of terrible pain ,helplessness ,guilt and hopelessness like the scarlet letter.It brings me so much terrible pain.I can escape nowhere.The writer gave me the hope for the bright future ,but the dark present came soon.The novel ended with sadness and death. Arthur Dimmesdale went away bravely.Hester Prynne lived bravly.
