最近一朋友跳槽，说跟老外面试好难，说这几年英语没用，口语都弱化了，提醒我要引起重视。
《老友记》是以前追过的剧，诙谐幽默，看起来无压力，典型的“笑着把口语给学了”。
跟随喜马拉雅、英语pk台的节奏，重新拾起来。AI、翻译软件确实很厉害，但是短期内，人与人之间的沟通、做生意都要面对面的。手里拿个翻译机，指手画脚和客户谈生意，沟通成本太高，也显得不专业。
这是老友记第三季，第五集的一个片段。
Ross见到他的偶像，在chandler，Joey等怂恿下，去撩他的女神去了。下面这段话，很有趣，大家可以感受下Ross那个尴尬还有呆萌。
Ross: Hi! Hi, I'm Ross, um, you don't know me, but I'm I'm a big, big fan of yours. I mean, um um, Blue Velvet, woo oo hoo! Um, I was wondering if I could um, maybe buy you a, um, cup of coffee? Or, reimburse you for that one.
解析：blue velvet即蓝丝绒。
reimburse：pay back for some expense incurred，这里伊莎贝尔已经付过钱了，因此Ross说“看，你已经付过了，那我把钱退给你吧，算我请你的”
Isabella: Aren't you with that girl over there?
Ross: Well, yeah, kinda. Um, but that's ok, see we have an understanding. Um, see we each have this list of of five famous people, and you are one of mine. So I'm allowed to sleep with you. No, no, no, it's
flattering.
flatter，means people praise you in an exaggerated way that is not sincere，etc。
这里Ross讲的上一句是sleep with you，为避免话聊不下去，因此自己给自己台阶下，说这是奉承哦，别想歪哦。
Isabella: I don't know.
Ross: Oh no, no, no, wait, wait, Isabella. Don't, don't just dismiss this so fast. I mean this is a once in a lifetime opportunity...
Isabella: Yeah, for you. Is that the list?
Ross:Um, yes.
Isabella: Can I see it?
Ross:Um, no.
Isabella: Come on! I'm not in the list!
Ross: Um, see, but that's not the final draft.
Isabella: It's laminated!
laminated means the list is covered with a clear plastic，in order to protect it。
即这个清单过塑过了，已经是最终版本了，因此Ross露馅了。
Ross: Yeah, um, ok, see, you were, you were on my list but my friend, Chandler...brought up the point that you are international. So I bumped you for Winona Ryder. Local.
Isabella: You know, it's ironic:...because I have a list of five goofy coffee house guys and yesterday I bumped you for that guy over there.
bump means replace sb，即伊莎贝拉被WR取代了；
ironic means you say the opposite of what you really mean，as a joke。即讽刺的；
goofy means foolish，rather silly or ridiculous。
