A little bird had been flying for a long time
from dawn to dark
from the south to the north
went through numberless shower and hailstones
one night she was feckly fallen into a deep trap when she was searching for the worms in a desert
one day she was almost killed by a shotgun while she was stopped in a snowy hill
fortunatelly she was escaped with bare life each time
then she may went on in flight
she flicked her lightsome wings
not knowing where is the destination
maybe her life has no destination but a hard journey
once over a hinterland she saw a wandering weak child with shedding tears crying for her gone mother
she sang several lovely songs to her but her tone was so faint that the half-deaf girl can never heard of her songs
once passing a shanty she saw a middle-aged man with incurable disease whining for his lost youth and lovers
she made an amused dancing to soothe him but the man was too sorrow to caught a sight with her dancing

whenever she travels by the noisy cities, millions of busy men and women go back and forth in a hurry, with their tighten brows and exhausted shapes
so many of them complained why pain doesn't mean gain? why the destiny always so unfair to them?
she was so admiring them they can possess houses to stay safe and sound
till so much tones shouting to her such like,Look! how lucky and happy to be a free bird!
so she went on in flight with light-hearted
she flicked her heavy wings
it's a long journey without knowing where is her destination
one day at last
she felt so debilitated
her wings getting heavier and heavier
her eyes becoming more and more blurred
she tried to do all her could to continue her flurr
to find a quite location to stopover for a rest

she winged over a cloud after a cloud
a building after a building
a bridge after a bridge
as she was nearly to give up and drop herself into a marsh
a big flowering apple tree in a green wood beside a peaceful brook appeared under her gleamy eyes
she gamboled gently onto a bulky trunk of the big apple tree
quickly,she slept like a log
from the dark to the dawn
here has no hungry,no trap,no snowstorm and no gunshot any more
but the bird with her shadow lying in the moonlight and sunshine
no tears,no death,no regrets, no poverty,no past and no future
but the bird with the abloom tree and the ripply brook in a peaceful small world
if there's really no destination
and if life is nothing else but a long hard journey
she will take things as they come tomorrow
but hush now, please
she really needs a good sleep
now she is smiling in her dream,a most safe and sound dream
