NRI Calculator is Nutritional Risk Index calculator.The nutritional risk index is used to determine the nutritional status of a person's body relatively accurately. It was developed in 1991 by the American Veterans Association Parenteral Nutrition Research Collaborative Group and is mainly used for the evaluation of total parenteral nutrition support in patients undergoing major abdominal surgery and thoracic surgery. Nutritional risk assessment was performed based on serum albumin concentration and percent weight loss.
