因为other 可以变身出the other, others, the others, 还有一个进来add trouble (凑热闹) 的another。
首先，大家要先搞清楚代词是什么：
代词是可以指代名词和一些形容词的。也就是说，代词本身在英文中起着名词或形容词的作用。之所以有这样一类词，是为了防止前面出现的词重复使用。 大家可以看下面的这个例子：

可是大家不要光顾着看故事，别忘了我们今天的主要话题。another, other, the other都可以做形容词性质的代词。
another指的是所有同类当中的任意另一个。当女主角说 “There’s not going to be another man like him”时，她就是说在所有同类里，不会再有另一个像他一样的人。
other 和another 有相近的意思，但是other 后只可以跟名词复数或不可数名词。
the other 表示在一个范围当中所有剩余的，后面既可以跟单数，也可以跟复数，这取决于这个范围的大小。大家注意：因为有了冠词the 的加盟，the other 表示的一定是这个范围内所有的剩余的哦。
