愚公移山是中国古代的一个神话故事，中国人对此耳熟能详。但在翻译过程中，如果按照字面直译，那么还要去解释这个愚公是何许人也，就显得译文太累赘了，而且这也不是句子要表达的重点信息，所以就取其内涵表达为“坚韧不拔的干劲”。
unremitting这个词比较简单，一般就是用来形容effort，比如王毅在第72届联合国大会一般性辩论的讲话：
