This book principally records how a Russian man who went through various frustrations, hardships, life and death overcame them and realize his value of life.
Has he not been brave and strong enough, he would have been dead. Strong will can save our lives to some degrees.
This book gives me some thoughts. Sometimes I feel uncomfortable for some parts of my body when I am tried in working or dealing with tough problems. A man who is beautiful and happy from the appearance may not be really happy from the inner heart. Everyone has his or her worries and misfortunes. What we should do is to try to be strong enoug to hide our soft point of our heart and appear hard like steel. Spiritual illness or physical illness, we can overcome with our tenacity like steel. Big or small, live with value.
