Things prevent my learning and help it

Things that help me to learn are mainly

First of all, interests are always the most essential one. I tend to be more concentrate on the things I think interesting. Therefore, in order to help my studying on something, I think I should develop my interests on that first(a good teacher with funny stories shall be good); at least I should try to find a reason to convince myself it is interesting and worth to know more.

Secondly, a suitable condition is also significant. No disturbing from social media (ok, I mean turn the cellphone off, u know). A regular place for studying, where is quiet and brilliant. And the temperature is suitable. This kind of condition helps me to concentrate longer.

Last but not the least, studying plan always play an important role.

Reasons to learn:

What's learning?

it is social, interactive and constructivist activity.

gather new ideas and information=>recording them=>organize them=>making sense of and understanding it=>remember them=>using them  (Devine,1987)

Learning is doing. I am always too lazy to do the organize(rearrange and analyze=>create knowledge for urself) work, it might be a reason why I always fail to really make sense of what I learned. 

Remember it to make it be yours.

Be attention, it is not simple.

'Education' involves the integration of knowledge with the self, where knowledge is defined by and helps to define the self.(after Noble(2002) Digital Diploma Mills)

The all steps happens in the same time.

Talk about and discuss after you learn something.

Surface and deep learning are both desirable. (e,g, you remember name,time and you also understand significance)

Learning style

We learn 90% of what we see, hear, say and do. Maybe we tend to be a typical type of learner, but we will be more effective if we employ all of these methods.

You should be aware of what kind of learner you are, as well as develop an ur-style learning style.

The learning contract 

1, Your reason for doing something: 'what i want from this course is...'

2, What you are prepared to do to achieve your goals: 'what i am prepared to do to make this happen is...'

3, What might interfere with your progress or prevent you from achieving your goals: 'shat might stop me is...'

4, What you will actually get from the activity in the long term: 'what is in it for me is...'

maybe before every semester, i would better make several 
contracts for myself.
