早发白帝城

Leaving Baidi City at Dawn

朝辞白帝彩云间，

Leaving Baidi City crowned with rosy clouds at dawn,

千里江陵一日还。

Sailing a thousand li to Jiangling takes me only one day.

两岸猿声啼不住，

Incessant cry of monkeys coming from both banks,

轻舟已过万重山。

My light boat has passed through a myriad of mountains.
