Hessian Matrix: It's a square matrix of second-order partial derivatives of a scalar-valued function. It describes the local curvature of a function of many variables.

Curvature: The curvative is the amount by which a curve deviates from being a straight line, or a surface deviates from being a plane.

Second Order Derivatives: In calculus, the second order derivative (aka, second derivative), of a function is the derivative of the derivative of f.

Second-Order Partial Derivatives: 

Partial Derivatives: In mathematics, a partial derivative of a function of several variables is its derivative with respect to one of those variables, with the others held constant.

Newton's Method: It's a root-finding algorithm which produces successively better approximations to the roots of a real-valued function.


Others:

Function: In mathematics, a function from a set X to a set Y assigns to each element of X exactly one element of Y.

Implicit Function: A implicit function is a function that is defined by an implicit equation, that relates one of the variables, considered as the value of the function, with the others considered as the arguments.

Implicit Equation: In mathematics, implicit equation is a relation of the form  R(x_1, ..., x_n) = 0, where R is a function of several varibales (often a polynomial).

Explicit Function: Explicit function is a function when the equation represent a variable explicitly by another variable.

Tangent Line: In geometry, the tangent line to a plane curve at a given point is the straight line that just touches the curve at that point.
