For some younger viewers, a phone booth might as well be a monolith from another world. Outdoor pay-phones have fallen out of use with the rise of cellphones but people are finding imaginative new ways to make use of the relics that have been part of the British landscape for about 80 years. 对于年轻人来说，电话亭可能是一个来自另一个世界的东西。随着智能手机的推广，户外的公共电话用的越来越少，但人们正在寻找别的有创意的用法，毕竟它们已经在英国的土地上存在了80多年。

Tony Inglis ran a trucking firm that got the contract to remove the old phone booths, many of which had fallen into ruin. His job was just to collect them, but something happened. Tony Inglis经营着一家子运输公司，收到了一笔移除所有旧的电话亭的订单，许多电话亭已经被毁坏。他的工作是把这些电话亭都收集起来，于是神奇的事情出现了。

其实这样也蛮好的，毕竟有些东西你无法阻止他过时，但是它仍然有意义对于很多人来说，我就觉得里面的老电话挺有收藏价值的。不知不觉中身边的电话亭、报亭都消失了，偶尔想起来真的有点伤感，因为这证明我们的童年过去了。
