No-Deal Brexit Means Fresh Food

    The UK food industry has warned that Britain will face a shortage of perishable foods if a no-deal Brexit kicks in.  英国食品行业警告称,一旦无协议脱欧生效,英国将面临易腐食品短缺。

    Green vegetables in particular have a very limited shelf life. The clock is ticking from the moment they picked, and delays at ports will restrict the amount of time a perishable product can last on shelves.   绿色蔬菜的保质期尤其短暂,从它们被采摘的那一刻起,时间便分秒流逝。若在港口发生延误,这些易腐产品上架后的保鲜时间就会更为有限。
