Keep writting

Do you still remember how long we hadn't written letters or cards ? for me, I hadn't have such behavior almost 20 years.

The appearence of internet, mobile phone and wechat ,our life full of electronics, it makes us happy but also let us have no time to calm down to write, a blessing, a holiday greeting, a lot of expression.... high efficient advises us typing through keyboard and slip from our fingers。

it was March 2021, when I returned to attend toastmaster meeting after my throat operation. I still remember now, unexpected， I recieved a beautiful envelope with Donna attention remarks, I was so nervous but exicted , I dared not open it at the scene. after the meeting, back  to home and prepared a cup of tea ,lay down on sofa then open it slowly.

my fingers gently scratched the cover with Donna attention and carefully take out the card in the envelope, good smelling of ink came to my nose, close my eyes and put the card on my chest and smelled the fragrance deeply, after that, slowly open my eyes ,open the card， what appeared in the eyes in the card were familiar ,strange and warm words.

familar is because I know clearly every single chinese characters

strange is because I have not recieved handwriting papers for many years.

Warm is because all words full  with kindness from someone.

hundreds of words writing express their kindness and concerns、it touched me deeply。at that moment, those warm words ，through the time tunnel, pulled me back to the world 20 years ago.

at that time，Letters ,linked our friendship，whenever you are，whatever huandrends or thousands words，with expectations,across the mountains and rivers then fly to our hands, from the familiar handwritings, seeing the letter is like seeing the person, all past just like movies, flashed in front of us and awake our warmly memory.

while I was thinking and got the giggles, a voice came from behind.

"hi, dears , what are you doing here，you looked so wired，are you counting money ”

my husband walked towards me.

" better than money" I said, "I still remember and missing your love letters when we were dating those years, can you write more love letters in the future, so I can have some good memory  to recall when I was old enough. "

"come on, dont be silly，what's your age now? and it is now 21 Century, how can I still do such stupid things ，but if you want it, I can download it afrom the internt and  send you as many as you want."

“stop it，go away from here”I said.

for me，as time goes by, those handwritten words will accompany my life and  always bring me warm and light up my heart in my future journey.

but over time, I can't imagine that , when young person no longer to write, if our culture would be eliminated slowly. when we are getting older and write down a few handwritings, will our later generation regard them as antiques, because they don't have such inherit from their parents.

so Do you think the written culture should be inherit ?
