The little prince

      The plot of "the little prince" in which the pilot "I" crashes in the Sahara is itself based on the author's own experience.      Unfortunately, the author, saint-exupery, disappeared during a flight mission in 1944, the year after he wrote the little prince, and has never been able to return to earth since.

  In "the little prince", the pilot "me" crashes into the Sahara desert and meets the little prince roaming the planets. The little prince came from a planet called B612, which had baobabs, two active volcanoes, an extinct volcano, flowers, and one of his favorite roses. The little prince was industrious, and as soon as he saw the little shoots of the baobabs grow up, he began to uproot them. Like a rejection of the people they do not like, resolutely and thoroughly. "Do you know," said the little prince, who was alone, "that one loves the sunset when one is sad?" So he once watched the sunset 44 times a day.

  The little prince loved roses. They were the only flowers in the world. The rose was very proud, and always in a haughty manner ordered the little prince to do all kinds of things for her, regardless of his feelings. He was looking for a cure for his loneliness and pain.

  When he came to earth, the first thing he met was a snake. The snake said that he could send the little prince back to the place where he had come from. The five thousand roses made the little prince realize that his rose was not unique in the world, and that what he missed most was the rose on his own planet. The fox's appearance further strengthened the little prince's love for the rose. The fox is mature, intelligent, and wise.   So the little prince domesticated the fox, and the fox fell in love with the little prince. Under the fox's guidance, the little prince understood that while he loved roses, he had to take responsibility. The little prince finds the snake. With the help of the snake, the little prince gives up his life to return to the rose.

  The author Antoine saint-exupery is a person who loves flying and freedom. Maybe the pilot "I" in the book is the author himself, while the little prince is also the author's inner self. Through the dialogue between the two selves, the inner sensitive "I" constantly seek emotional sustenance, love, friendship. For example, love, in his distant hometown, he has a beautiful and proud lover like a rose. But he was restless, longing for poetry and distance.
