Dear Miss Hanff:
I hardly know how to express my thanks
and feelings for the loves box of
everything to eat which you have sent me
which arrived today. I have never been
sent a parcel before. I really don’t think
you should have done it. I can only say
Thank you very much. I certainly will
enjoy everything.
It was very kind of you to think of me
in this way. I showed them all to Mrs.
Doel, she thought they were lovely.
Again Thanking you very much, and best
wishes,
Yours very sincerely,
Mary Boulton
