After a sunny warm and really nice spring time period in February, today the winter returned to Rosenheim back again with strong stormy weather and heavy snowfall. Haven't been interested to go out all all, but felt like I could sleep all of the day. Just like the animals in Suzhou Zoo.
Thanks for the photos. I think the new Zoo area in Suzhou is really great to pay a visit. Hope on my next trip to China, I also will have the opportunity to go there. Do they also have a dolphin show like we once had seen together with Jade in Shanghai?
Two years ago, when I travelled to Hangzhou, I also visit the Zoo there. I found the white peacock very beautiful. The lion was awake, just did appear a little lazy. The red panda were moving around very quickly, I remember it's been quite difficult for me to take a photo of them. One shoot of a red panda, however I managed done well. And the giant pandas were eating and eating bamboo all the time. Isn't it amazing how they can use their hands for eating, just like people use their hands.
The other day in Hangzhou, I had rent a bicycle to go around and into a neighboring valley. In the afternoon of that day, on the way back to the city; I crossed a long road tunnel with the bicycle. After passing the tunnel, right after the tunnel exit, I discovered by chance an entry lane to a Buddhist temple. I have been curios, so I parked the bicycle and went in. It absolutely was worth a visit. This place atmosphere really have been specially to me. I like this temple were much and I even had the opportunity to join a Buddhist service of the monks. An indeed particular experience for me.
Only problem for me, that it had not been a touristic spot and therefore nothing in the temple area was written in English. Can you help me to translate the Chinese texts on the black boards of page2. I guess it could be something very meaningful of Buddhist teachings.
