For the immigration, I sold my apartment in China which was got from bank benefit. As I got full time job in New Zealand, I decided to buy a new apartment. By serviced for ICBC about twenty years, I got golden handshake from there abouts eighty thousand Chinese dollars. I paid those money as deposit, got repayment mortgage from the bank, bought a studio in centre city of Auckland.
Based on my financial background, I have studied Auckland property market. I think that to invest in property can get good returns and have low risk.
Then I companied with a friend in China bought another apartment in Auckland CBD in 2007.
Unfortunately, I met the finance crisis in 2008. All of properties price drop down. My friend worried about loss his money and wants sale the apartment. As the rent can cover repayment mortgage, I have decided to keep it. I borrowed some money and bought my friend share.
My credo is buy one and keep one. So I have keeping all of properties that l invested to now. All of the values on real estate market are doubled in a decade.
From a long term investment in property, I also build up my vocabularies and knowledge in that area .
