爷爷的名气，一天比一天大。爷爷和杨奶奶的爱情故事，越传越离谱。
爷爷是个武痴，天天埋头练功，身体很棒，但是口才极差，真的是用棍子打也逼不出几句话来。甘奶奶嫁给爷爷后，为爷爷生下三个儿子三个女儿。我的父亲排行老六，算是老满。所以，我有三个姑姑，两个伯伯。
Grandpa was a martial-arts fun, he practiced hard every day, so he had a good body, but very bad eloquence, even though you hit him with sticks, he would't be forced to speak out many words. After grandma Gan married grandpa, she gave birth to three sons and three daughters for him. My father was in the sixth, the youngest one. So i have three aunts and two uncles.
甘奶奶生下我父亲不久，就撒手人寰。
Grandma Gan died soon after she gave birth to my father.
爷爷苦练武功，功夫蛮高，但是，对于赚钱养家糊口，却是乏善可陈。除了卖死力气做事，没有别的活路。甘奶奶去世后，为了赚钱养家，爷爷去了车江镇的新塘埠打长工。后来，我的三个姑姑，都嫁在新塘埠那块地方。
Grandpa practiced martial arts very hard, and his kung fu was really high. But there was nothing to be said for making money and supporting the family. There's no other way to live except to sell his strength and work like hell. After grandma Gan died, grandpa went to work as a long-time laborer in Xintang port of Chejiang town in order to earn money for yhe family. Later, all three of my aunts were married in Xintang port.
爷爷的东家，姓杨，是个年轻漂亮的寡妇。她男人新婚不久，就病死了，留下一片好大的家业，田地上百亩，高高的青砖瓦屋一大片。长工都请了十多个。爷爷在她家做了几年事，居然就让她动了心。
Grandpa's host, whose surname is Yang, was a beautiful young widow. Soon after the marriage, her husband died of illness, leaving behind a large family business, hundreds of acres of land, a large area of high green brick house. There were more than ten long-time workers hired by her,and grandpa was one of them and worked at her house for a few years, but she was unexpectedly moved by my grandpa.
第一，爷爷身体健壮，什么样的农活，都会干。耕田钯田，样样精通。第二，人老实本分，从不打牌赌博，从不乱开口说话。第三，不抽烟不喝酒，每天做完事，就一个人躲到一边，打拳耍棍，苦练武功。说句实话，在东家的眼里，做事能干，人本分，又有保护家人的高强本领，这样的男人，真的算完美级别的好男人。
First of all, grandpa was strong and could do all kinds of farm work. Secondly, he was honest, never play cards and gamble, never talk nonsense. Thirdly, no smoking, no drinking, and every day when work's done, he would hide away, punch or play with sticks, practicing martial arts hard. To tell the truth, in the eyes of the host, he was capable of doing things, doing his duty, and having a strong ability to protect his family. Such a man was really a good man at the perfect level.
东家动了心，自然很快就主动变身，成了我的杨奶奶。
The host was moved, naturally, soon took the initiative to become my grandma Yang.
杨奶奶无儿无女，手里攥着大把的财富，她原来老公的堂兄堂弟，甚至于叔叔伯伯，都紧盯着她，想给她过继一个孩子继承香火。实际上，就是等着她死后，全盘接收她的财产。现在一看风向不对，她居然招了个外地男人上门，明铺明盖，夫妻相称，这就等于断了他们的后路。
Grandma Yang had no children, and she had a fortune in the hand. Her former husband's cousins, even his uncles, were all staring at her, trying to give her a child to carry on the succession of incense. In fact, just waiting for her to die and take over all of her assets. But now the wind wasn't right, she called a man from other places to come to her door, and she's got a husband and became other's wife, which was tantamount to breaking their way back.
事关切身利益，谁都不是个好鸟。于是乎，关于杨奶奶的谣言就满天飞，什么不守妇道啦，淫荡无耻啦，败家丧德啦，不爱亲族爱流氓啦，奸夫淫妇......反正什么话恶毒，就说什么话，没有一句好听顺耳的话。甚至于有人抬出族规，要开祠堂门，用族规审判杨奶奶伤风败俗，要装猪笼里抛湘江河里淹死。
It's a matter of self-interest, nobody's a good bird. As a result, rumors about grandma Yang were flying all over the sky, what's immoral, shameless, not loving the family, love hooligans, adulterers and so on.They just say whatever it was evil to say,and there was never a good word. Some people even carried out the family rules, claiming that they should open the ancestral hall door and judge grandma Yang by the rules of the family,throw grandma Yang to a pig cage and drown her in the Xiang River.
被逼不过，杨奶奶把所有的田地全部卖光，连青砖瓦屋也卖掉，就携带着一个沉甸甸的包裹，跟着我爷爷，到了我老家。爷爷在外打长工好多年，带着如花似玉的杨奶奶回家就买了几十亩上等水田，还砌了栋青砖瓦屋，一下子就惊动了很多人。个个都说爷爷走了桃花运。
Grandma Yang was forced to sell all the fields, even the brick house, and carried a heavy package, followed my grandfather to my hometown. Grandpa spent many years working outside as a long-time laborer, back home with a graceful grandmother and bought dozens of acres of higher-quality farmland, also built a green brick house. All of a sudden, a lot of people were shocked. Everyone said grandpa had a good luck in love.
爷爷的名气，一天比一天大。爷爷和杨奶奶的爱情故事，越传越离谱。当地一个讼棍，专门吃人弄人，靠挖坑害人过日子，自然就打起了爷爷的主意。他设了一个骗局，把爷爷诓了进去，然后到衙门打官司，把我爷爷抓起来。结果就是我爷爷坐了几年牢，家产全部败光。杨奶奶求天无路，求地无门，哭了几年，把一双眼睛都哭瞎了。
Grandpa's reputation was getting bigger by the day. The love stories of grandpa and grandma Yang were getting more and more ridiculous. A local shyster, specialized in cannibalism, made a living by swindling, naturally played an idea on grandpa. He set up a scam, tricked grandpa into it, then went to the police station to fight a lawsuit, and took my grandfather into custody. As a result, my grandfather spent years in prison and lost all his possessions. Grandma Yang begged for no way, cried for several years and blinded her eyes.
喜剧的是，全国解放了，我爷爷是家徒四壁的贫农，平安无事，而那个讼棍，名下家大业大，是个大地主，因罪大恶极被执行枪决。他的两个女儿，一个年纪轻轻被雷打死，一个被老公虐待，自己冲进水塘里淹死。全家死绝，没有留下一个人。时至今日，他的坟墓因长年无人祭扫，早已经塌陷成平地，长满了野草。
The comedy was that the whole country was liberated, and my grandfather was a poor peasant who had nothing to lose, so he was safe and sound. But the shyster, who was a great landowner, was executed by gun for his great evil. His two daughters, one young girl was killed by thunder, the other abused by her husband, rushed into the pond and drowned. The whole family died and no one was left behind. To this day, his grave has fallen to the ground, covered with weeds, for years without human sacrifice.
爷爷和杨奶奶反复跟我们后人说：天老爷有眼珠啊，做坏事会有报应啊！
Grandpa and grandma Yang told us repeatedly: god has eyes, there would always be retribution for doing bad things!
所以，我特别相信因果报应，不敢动歪脑筋做事，更不敢打阴损主意害人。哪怕就是受了天大的委屈，被诬陷，被欺辱，被关进深狱大牢，我也相信有天老爷看着，那些人会有报应的。
Therefore, I especially believe in karma, do not dare to do bad things, and dare not have a mind of sabotage and harm others. Even if it means being wronged, framed, humiliated, thrown in jail, I believe that one day the lordship will see them and they will be punished for it.
