CONGRATULATIONS ON COMPLETING YOUR LIFESCORE ASSESSMENT!

You’ve taken the first step toward building a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Too often, we spend our time running from one thing to the next, juggling endless demands on our time and attention. Inevitably, certain areas of our lives start to suffer in favor of other areas. But our lives are made up of nine interrelated life domains, each one affecting all the others.

Thus, in order to get the life you want, you need to be intentional about all nine domains. To do that, you need visibility into where you are now and what could be improved, and then set goals accordingly.

The great news is, you’ve pretty much got the basics nailed down. That’s awesome! But don’t settle for how far you’ve already come. You can always reach for more.

What would be possible in your life if you challenged yourself a bit more? How might you grow if you really stretched this year to develop one or two of your life domains even further? It’s worth considering.

    Your Individual Domain Scores

Your total score was 78, but looking at each life domain can provide some helpful insight.

Here are your individual domain scores. Once you’ve read your assessment results, be sure to check out our recommendations for moving forward. Those follow directly after your results.

Also, we suggest that you either save this webpage for future reference using your browsers Save Page As command, clip it to Evernote using Evernote’s free webclipper, or print it using your browser’s print command.

    BODY

You scored 9 in Body. Let’s see what that looks like.

You feel healthy. You may miss a day every now and then, but you generally have a regular workout schedule.

You make sure to move regularly throughout your day, even if your work keeps you in front of a screen. You might take walking breaks at regular intervals or set a timer to remind you to stand up and move around. When you’re not working, you are intentional about moving your body and staying active and healthy.

You are somewhat aware of when you do and don’t eat healthy meals. You try to make healthy choices but probably only do it half of the time.

You get a good amount of sleep about half the time. You try to get the rest you need, but some nights you stay up too late and wake up sluggish.

    MIND

You scored 7 in Mind. Let’s see what that looks like.

You believe you’re at a “good enough” level of growth. You know enough to get by and are fine with where you are in terms of emotional and intellectual development. When others point out areas for improvement, you are offended or think they just don’t know you.

You are curious about new things. You occasionally buy a book or listen to a podcast, and you enjoy it when you do. But you may not actively seek out learning on your own.

You are somewhat aware of what’s going on around you and how you fit into it all. Your thought life is mostly clear, but you may have times of feeling muddled and unsure how to proceed.

You go back and forth between seeing the abundance of potential in life and seeing the limited amount of resources available. There are times you feel powerless and other times when you feel energized to take hold of what life has to offer. You might lean one way or the other depending on the people you are around.

    SPIRIT

You scored 10 in Spirit. Let’s see what that looks like.

You are constantly aware of the presence of a higher power in your life.

You are consistent in practicing spiritual disciplines and are purposeful in structuring your days to allow space for growth.

You believe you were created for a purpose but just don’t know what that is or how to pursue it.

You attend a faith community but are not as consistent as you would like to be. You don’t feel fully connected and don’t really serve there.

    LOVE

You scored 8 in Love. Let’s see what that looks like.

You do some things every now and then to improve your relationship with your significant other, but it’s not consistent. You know there’s more you could probably be doing, but you can’t seem to find the time.

When you experience conflict with your significant other, you are sometimes able to resolve issues in a healthy way. But other times you don’t resolve the root issue, and it comes up again in the next conflict.

You communicate somewhat regularly with your significant other, but you don’t always go deep enough to know what’s going on under the surface. Sometimes you do, and you’re able to meet each other there. But it’s not second nature, so you don’t always know how best to help each other.

You agree with your significant other on some things but also disagree about a lot of other things. You sometimes seek each other’s counsel, but you struggle to connect where you disagree.

    FAMILY

You scored 12 in Family. Let’s see what that looks like.

You routinely affirm your family members for their positive character traits and personal accomplishments. Your family feels safe to admit mistakes and comfortable sharing their deepest desires and fears.

You love the time you spend with your family. You schedule that time intentionally. When you’re with your family, your focus is on them and connecting with them.

You feel in sync with your family. When conflict does arise, you resolve it in a healthy way that leads to greater intimacy.

You are purposeful in how you approach your family. You schedule time to spend with them, and you make intentional choices to deepen your relationships.

    COMMUNITY

You scored 9 in Community. Let’s see what that looks like.

You have close friends with whom you can share your biggest dreams and greatest fears. Your family regularly “does life” with this circle, and it is one of your greatest sources of joy.

You are part of a community of people who are just like you. You all generally have the same backgrounds and life experiences and rarely challenge each other to consider other perspectives.

Your friends feel safe to challenge your mindsets and choices when they might be limited or foolish. You know each other’s proclivities and help each other to grow.

You know community is important, so you sometimes take part in community activities. It’s usually sporadic, and you don’t make commitments to be involved on an ongoing basis.

    MONEY

You scored 12 in Money. Let’s see what that looks like.

You make more than enough money to cover your needs, fund your chosen lifestyle, and save for the future.

You feel in control of your finances and are at peace with where you are in life. If you have debt beyond your mortgage, it’s strategic debt and your net worth continues to grow.

You have a detailed and thought-out budget that you follow every month, so you know where you are spending your money and when you need to cut back.

You are able to give generously to causes that matter.

    WORK

You scored 8 in Work. Let’s see what that looks like.

You enjoy some recognition from your professional peers and are working toward more growth in your field.

You like some parts of your work and see how it is impactful, but you dislike others and feel they are meaningless.

You are progressing in your chosen vocation, but you wish the momentum was more steady.

You are given new responsibilities and tasks every now and then at work, and you enjoy learning how to do them. But it’s few and far between, and you sometimes find yourself bored and wishing the pace would pick up.

    HOBBIES

You scored 10 in Hobbies. Let’s see what that looks like.

You understand the benefit of having interests outside of work and family. You set aside time to invest in your hobby or hobbies and therefore give yourself a mental and emotional break from the demands of life.

You have a hobby or hobbies but struggle to find the time to pursue them.

You find a sense of fullness by pursuing your hobbies. They bring you rest, enlightenment, growth as you master new skills, and even some new community as you meet with fellow enthusiasts.

You try to avoid distractions while pursuing your hobbies, but aren’t always successful. When you intentionally remove potential distractions, you enjoy your focused time. But you sometimes fall into the trap of family interruptions or your phone, email, or social media.

    Recommendations

This is the level of conventional success. You’re doing well in most domains. You may even be crushing it in a domain or two—like Work or Money. There may be a domain where you’re struggling, but, for the most part, you’re doing well. This can actually be the most dangerous zone, because it’s easy to get comfortable in success. But there’s always room to stretch and grow.

As we said at the top of the report, don’t settle. We recommend assessing where you are and looking for new challenges and deeper enrichment. Set the bar higher. Strive for more!

Let’s dig into some goals you might set—or that might jumpstart your thinking about goals to set—to close the gap in the coming year. We’ve selected the domains we think will be most helpful for you to focus on, but you can see a complete list here (PDF).
