About learning English (9)

While I have completed the advanced  course, I felt that my English is good now.  But when I embarked at work, my mind was  totally blank.

There are thousands different automotive  parts and lubricants and tools on the  shelves .

All of them have a different name. For  vehicles, Before I  only knew the words like car and truck and bus.Then, I knew some  called sedan, some called station wagon,  some called ute.

Then, I found all car's brand    and the  model name in English are different with  Chinese. For example, brands of cars  such as Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Toyota. Just for model of VW, have passat, golf,  beetle......

For some chemical products like Kerosene and methylated spirits, I knew those things before I went to primary school. But when I saw them on the shelves, I didn't know what it is. For all of parts inside the car, I didn't have any knowledge about such stuff.

Some people maybe think I am idiot.
