Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. It's a beautiful day, isn't it? Of course, today we come here not only for the beautiful weather, but also for all the beautiful women teachers in our school.

Today is March 8th, International Women's Day, which is often called “Goddess Festival”. It's a special day for all of us. We celebrate this day for our sisters, daughters, mothers, wives and, most important of all, for all the women teachers and our coworkers here.

We get together today to celebrate it, because we know women teachers contribute a lot to the work, family, and society. My wife is a teacher too, so I can see a woman teacher's hard work and contributions to the school and family in the daily life. I know all your pains and happiness.

At the same time, I also understand that teaching career plays an important part in a woman teacher's whole life. It will fulfill your career ideals and make your family life much happier. You are all well-educated women and want to have a fulfilled life. That’s very valuable.

I do believe you can cultivate the following generations to be better sisters, daughters, mothers, wives, teachers, and so on.

I do believe all your hard work will pay off, all your efforts will be rewarded, and all your perseverance will be successful.

I do believe you are great women who are full of warmth and strength, you are great mothers who are able to care and support the children and you are great teachers who will create the history of China.

So today, please allow me to send holiday greetings to all the female teachers on behalf of our school.
