我从大学的一个课程《寰球人文中国》中开始接触《道德经》，老师鼓励我们自己做翻译。所以我试着把我的翻译发表在这里，既作纪念，也供大家评论，我借此机会学习感悟。
道可道，非常道；名可名，非常名。
无，名天地之识；有，名万物之母。
故常无，欲以观其妙；常有，欲以观其徼。
此两者，同出而异名，同谓之玄，玄之又玄，众妙之门。
If a rule could be told,then it's not the so-called supreme rule,as if something isn't special if it could be named.
Everything began without rules,and they were borned under rules.
So see in a irregular way to seek for the mysteries of the rule,and see in a regular way to seek for the edge of the rule.
Having rules or not is all the same.They come from a same origin with different names.Being hard to say which of them is more abstruse,we can call both of them mysteries.They are the mysteries of the universe.
首先，对于《道德经》的文本，或者说对于大部分古文的翻译而言，都会面临一个断句的问题，例如网上也有别的断句版本，“故常无欲...常有欲...”。我这里采用的是陈鼓应先生的断句版本。
其次，我先指出我所知道的问题吧。Translation这个过程不仅是文本意思的传达，更是文化之美的交流。原文中的诗词结构之美、押韵之美，碍于我的翻译功底的不足，目前无法在英语中表达出来。英文也有优美的诗歌，如莎士比亚的《Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?》。
再次，其实我是个理科生，不怎么阅读的那种，其实爱读书的理科生大有人在，我却很难去阅读一本书，更别说咬文嚼字地读了。所以我的理解能力比较一般，对原文所要表达的意思可能不是那么正确，也只能通过向大家学习来弥补了，希望大家能够分享各自对《道德经》的理解，我也借此丰富自己的思想。
