““My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle, and they come to an end without hope. Remember, O God, that my life is but a breath; my eyes will never see happiness again. The eye that now sees me will see me no longer; you will look for me, but I will be no more.”
Job 7:6-8 NIV
Is it coincidence when I read Job’s brokenness meanwhile I get a new book < be the gift>— let your brokenness be turned into abundance? I don’t think so.
Job’s whole brokenness made him hopeless and desperate, he indicated that his days were swifter than a weaver’s shuttle, and they come to an end without hope.
Yes, everyone’s time is limited, we are in terminal on the earth. Could it be that always choose to live in the depression or desperation or unhappiness? Absolutely no, everyday we should ask ourselves how will we use our time? The ways of spending our time are so many— crazily working, enjoying many entertainment, studying, going shopping, gossiping with friends ...... such these only has one purpose—serving ourselves, please also use our time to giving and serving, serving a friend or family members or children or the others. That’s will be the way to find the light in the dark, be a medicine to lower our blood pressure and remove our depression and reduce anxiety.
No matter what season we are in, whether we are experiencing a season of suffering or a season of joy or a time of perplexity, keep spending our time in thanks, in giving and in serving. In the busyness season, I ask for patience and love.
