L21-2：Daniel Mendoza
The two men quarrelled bitterly and it was clear that the argument could only be settled by a fight. A match was held at Stilton, where both men fought for an hour. The public bet a great deal of money on Mendoza, but he was defeated. Mendoza met Humphries in the ring on a later occasion and he lost for a second time. It was not until his third match in 1790 that he finally beat Humphries and became Champion of England. Meanwhile, he founded a highly successful Academy and even Lord Byron became one of his pupils. He earned enormous sums of money and was paid as much as $100 for a single appearance. Despite this, he was so extravagant that he was always in debt. After he was defeated by a boxer called Gentleman Jackson, he was quickly forgotten. He was sent to prison for failing to pay his debts and died in poverty in 1836.

练习感悟：
好久没有写练习感悟了，之前觉得可有可无，真的重新开始还是觉得有必要，模仿过程中的不足如果没有及时记录，一下子就忘记了。
今天这篇文章有一些连读没有到位，比如
A match was held at Stilton中held at模仿时会忘记连读；还有一句我觉得最难模仿的是 Mendoza met Humphries in the ring on a later occasion and he lost for a second time. 需要一边牢记连读位置，还需要模仿口吻跟笑声，往往顾此失彼。
重新朗读了几遍，又发现了一些问题，比如poverty的o的音，应该读成a，extravagant中tr的音读久了舌头会转不动，还有就是删除了文稿中的重复句。模仿的状态是越放松越自然，有时候太僵硬了，带着刻意模仿的痕迹，听着就很刺耳。
