菲律宾的饮食文化

台风过后的清晨,依然飘着小雨,裹了大衣去散步,本以为没有舞者在跳舞,原来他们已在足球场的露天看台上起舞。在一旁望着,静静地欣赏跳舞,也是不失为一种享受。

菲国的大街小巷,都有挑着担子卖早点的,有鲜牛奶,甜豆腐脑。这里的甜豆腐脑,要加了一种透明的像是珍珠奶茶里的珍珠一样的东西,还要加上草莓酱或是黑色的类似黑糖一样的东西,要甜到腻的程度,本地其他的特色我叫不上来。菲人喜欢吃甜食,各种蛋糕店一个接一个,咖啡馆和休闲场所随处可见,也喜欢吃油炸食物,各种炸鸡,炸鱼,炸虾,炸点心,甚至香蕉也炸了吃,不过很好吃呢。这里有麦当劳叔叔,KFC老爷爷,但最出名和火爆的是Jollibee,快乐蜂餐饮公司一个勤劳的小蜜蜂代言的快餐,附和菲律宾口味,和KFC还是不一样的。在舞者的周围,不时有菲人挑着担子,或用头顶着一个大簸箕装满食品来卖,有时候觉得像及了家乡小时候的货郎摊,对孩子总是最大的诱惑,仿佛他的担子里什么都有。也尝过他们的食物,有的是不太习惯的,有的别具风味。但要真的了解一个城市,从食物开始,应该是一个很好的切入点。

记得来到菲国第一个晚上,下了飞机在世纪花园酒店的餐厅就摆好了一盘盘类似家乡汤面条之类的东西。因为舟车劳顿,是没有胃口的,所以没吃。现在想来是有些遗憾的,至少吃一口吧,可是吃一口又会太浪费。呵呵,在这里,觉得菲国的人是很节约的,无论在哪里,吃的什么,如果有剩余,是一定要打包带走的,习大大的光盘行动在这里是绝好的体现。

早餐是自助餐,可以尽情品尝菲国的食物,据说这样的早餐级别是中国的领导人来的招待级别。干净,整齐,节约,是我对菲国饮食文化最真切的感受。早餐的桌子中央有水插鲜花,有一个咖啡壶,旁边的盘子里有奶精和糖。每个餐位上都有一个大盘子,上面放着一个小盘子,有刀叉、大勺子和小勺子,四种餐具用餐布包好了放旁边,可惜没有筷子。这里是沿袭了西方的生活方式和习惯。菲籍的waiter穿戴整齐地站在你身边,端了白开水的玻璃壶,看你水杯里的水浅了,就会给你加上,总是面露微笑。还有果汁,雪碧一样的汽水,可以随便喝。饮料旁边是汤,第一个是白米粥,是对了我的胃口,其他有三种样式的食品,始终没敢品尝,这有点不像我的风格,但不能为了胃口而伤了身体,刚来,怕水土不服就严重了。家里喝白粥就只是白粥,这里的白米粥旁边有很多小碗放了各式的豆类和佐料,看到其他人用才知道是往粥里添加的。好吧,我还是只喝米粥吧。粥的旁边有带了高帽的厨师在煎蛋,煎牛排,你可以排队等候领取。牛排可以加各种调料。最具特色的是这里的青柠,小小的,像家乡的小橘子,绿色的,味道有点像柠檬,可以加在汤里、肉上、茶里,是天然的植物醋,有去火清新口气的功效,很受这里人的喜爱。转个角是各种热菜,肉类居多,传说菲律宾青菜很少,菜比肉贵,还有各种贝类和海鲜,不同作法的鱼。早餐,看这么多的肉,也是难以食之的。这是五星级酒店,素菜还是蛮多的,和了中国人的胃口,菲律宾人都不喜欢吃青菜。素菜旁边是凉菜,只是看,就觉得口水直流,吃了,也是极好的。再向边上是各种点心和面包,有一盘子的小盒黄油可以夹面包里。最后是各种水果,每天不同,家里常吃的西瓜苹果有,菲国特色的热带水果也是极多,榴莲,菠萝蜜,香蕉,芒果,木瓜……早餐可以只吃水果就好的,看来这一年,是要变成水果仙子了!

十点的时候有加餐,世纪花园酒店的培训有三天,每次的加餐都不一样,看来是主家安排好了给我们的饕餮美食啊。加餐有时候是水果,有时候是面,有时候是甜的浓浓的汤。只是觉得刚吃了早餐,还没消化就又加餐,加餐刚吃过不久,12点又要吃午餐,午餐过后4点多是加餐,晚餐6点多,这样一天下来要吃五顿饭的。后来知道要每次少吃,其实这样少食多餐该是最健康的生活方式。

午餐和晚餐以米饭居多,大盘子上扣了很漂亮的小碗米饭,旁边是肉和青菜,都不多,但肉块很大,女士看了都害怕,让给男士吃的居多。饭量是很适合女士的,真怕吃惯了大碗的北方汉子不够吃呢。这估计也是少食多餐的原则,不浪费。每餐都有各种汤,最出名的要数菲律宾的酸汤,有点家乡酸汤小苏肉的感觉,但又不一样,一勺入口,味蕾全部打开,是极好的。后来在工作的碧瑶,也喝到这样口味的酸汤,很是喜欢。晚餐和午餐差不多,有waiter把你的饭盛好端到你面前,吃完了再收走,咖啡随便喝。这也体现了菲国的工作效率,吃饭是不浪费太多时间的。也许这只是我们培训的节奏,紧张充实。

I remembered that we arrived in Philippine first night, walking from the plane gracefully to the Century Garden Hotel. At the restaurant, there are trays and trays of similar hometown soup ,noodles and something like that. Because there is no appetite, and I felt tired, I didn't eat. But now I feel hungry, It's a pity to come to eat at least, but it's a waste of food.. Oh, here, feel the Philippines is very economical, regardless of where, what to eat, if there is a surplus, it is certain to pack away, President Xi Jinping taught Chinese people to finish eating all the food and vegetable at table so that there is no waste. here is great reflected.

Breakfast is a buffet breakfast, you can enjoy the taste of the food in the Philippines. It is said that such a level of breakfast is China's leaders to the reception level. Clean, neat, save for the Philippine food culture is my most sincere feelings. The central table breakfast are water flowers, with a pot of coffee, there are a creamer and sugar on the plate. Every meals, every position has a big plate, placed above a small plate, knife and fork, spoon and a small spoon, four dishware wrapped with dinner cloth put on the table. Unfortunately, no chopsticks. This is the lifestyle and habits that follow the West.. Drinking porridge at home is just plain porridge, white rice here next to many small bowl put all kinds of beans and seasoning, after seeing the other person using, I know that is adding to the porridge. Well, I only drink porridge. A cook with a top hat is frying eggs and steak beside porridge, you can wait in line to receive. Steak can be added to various seasonings.. Turn on the corner , there is a variety of hot dish, mostly meat, Philippine legends there are less vegetables here, so vegetables are more expensive than meat dishes, and a variety of shellfish and seafood, approach different fish. Breakfast, watching so much meat, you feel its also difficult to choose which is suitable to eat. This is the five Stars Hotel, there is so much salad, and that’s just the Chinese people's appetite, Filipinos do not like to eat vegetables. Next to the vegetable dish is a cold dish, when I look at it, I feel slobber, if I eat it, it should be excellent. To the edge of all kinds of snacks and bread, a dish box can be bread in butter. Finally, a variety of fruits, it is different everyday, when I am at home we eat watermelon and apple, characteristics of tropical fruits in Philippines are also slue, durian, jackfruit, banana, mango, papaya......  only fruit can be eaten as breakfast , that is good, it seems that this year, I will become a fairy fruit!

At ten o'clock, there is additional meal, there are 3 days training at the Century Garden Hotel, every meal is not the same, its obviously that the landlord arranged our gluttonous gourmet for us,  ah. Sometimes it's fruit, sometimes it's a sweet, thick soup.. Just think breakfast just now. Haven't digest and snacks, snacks are just eaten soon, at 12, we also eat lunch, after lunch,  at 4, it is snacks, dinner will be at 6 o'clock, so the day off, we have eaten five meals. Later I know I must eat less, in fact, so eating less food and eating more times are the most healthy way of life.

Lunch and dinner with rice is in the majority, large plate buckle beautiful small bowl of rice, next to the meat and vegetables, they do not have much, but the pieces of meat is very big, every lady looks at it with the fear, but men who eat mostly. The appetite is very suitable for ladies, really afraid of eating a bowl for the northern man in China who are not enough to eat. This is also estimated that the principle of eating less meals, not waste. Every meal of soup, the most famous to the Philippines is sour soup, some thing like the sour soup in our hometown and I can feel it is like the smell of the small meat, but not the same, a spoonful of entry, taste. But it is not the same, a spoonful of entrance, taste buds are all opened, is excellent. Later I work in Baguio, I also drink that taste which is very sour, like. Lunch and dinner are similar, there is a waiter who carry the meal in front of you, you left when you have finished eating up, you can drink Coffee free of charge. This also reflects the work efficiency, the meal is not wasted too much time. Maybe it's just the rhythm of our training, full of tension .
