非常喜欢Robert Frost的一首诗The Road Not Taken,译作《未选择的路》。
“选择就意味着放弃,永远放弃其他的一切;无论得到多少,失去的一切永远更多也更好。
因此,我对世间任何形式的拥有都有所抵触,害怕从此再也不能拥有别的东西了。”
纪德在《人间食粮》里如此诠释放弃和拥有。我想这大概是圣人“天人合一”的境界。不把任何事物据为己有,却拥有着这世间的一切。
对于我等凡人,其实没有选择的那条路,根本就不存在。从我们踏上自己选择的那条道路伊始,其他所有的可能性便瞬间消失了。
从出生到死亡,人生从来是一条单行道。我们拥有的,也不过是此时此刻。若你一晃神,看向过去,或者未来,这一刻便也永远地失去了。
所谓“未选择的路”,只是心头的一种幻觉,因而看上去似乎更美好一些。愿我们都摆脱能珍惜所拥有的每个瞬间,不去想那些未曾拥有的事物。
愿我们走出幻觉,活在当下!

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

黄色的树林里分出两条路,
