美国的牛仔竞技大会Rodeo

Dr. S 在线上详细介绍了美国的牛仔竞技大会Rodeo的情况，并热情邀请我们同去参加。并说明这是实地学习，要比线上学习效果更好。同感。

这个活动是由Pike County Cattlemen's Association组织的，称作：
Pike County Cattlemen's 28th annual Rodeo，August 28th and 29th,2020
有很多赞助商sponsors,大概是根据出钱多少来决定等级吧，有：
gold sponsors
silver sponsors
banner sponsors
chute gate sponsors
event sponsors

有好几个项目：
Bareback
Saddle Bronc
Steer Wrestling
Breakaway
Calf Roping
Team Roping
Barrel Racing
Bull Riding

门票很简单，可在指定的地方提前购票，这样的票价12。我去的地方是专门卖西部衣装的一家店，很具有西部特色。待另外写一下。
票上标明了：
gate open 5 pm Fri,
gate open 4 pm Sat,
western festival 5 pm Sat
RODEO 7:30 pm
票上有编号，可以用来抽奖。

在入场口，会有一些卖家，所售卖的东西很有特色。
其中一款Dreamcatcher(捕梦器)似曾相识，是在新版的走遍美国中看到过的。另外专门写了一下。

过去T大学曾经还有专门的队伍参加这个RODEO。后来可能因为太野蛮因而危险的原因取消了吧。大概是2014年前后的事。

后来看到1979年D在德州休斯顿被邀请观看RODEO的视频。可见这种运动受美国人民的喜爱程度。
