中考易混淆词汇辨析（一）

1.有些表示颜色的词首字母大写之后表示姓氏：

(1)green绿色——Green格林

(2)black黑色——Black布莱克

(3)white白色——White怀特

(4)brow棕色——Brown布朗 

e.g. a black pen一支黑色的港币

        a white jacket一件白色的夹克衫

        Mr. White怀特先生

        Miss Green格林小姐

2.this, that, these和those的辨析：

(1)this和that 可以单独使用，作主语看作单数；也可以修饰可数名词单数；this表“近指”；that表“远指”；

(2)these和those可以单独使用，作主语看作复数；也可以修饰可数名词复数；其中these为this的复数，those为that的复数。

e.g.This is my cat.

        This book is Mary’s.

        These rulers are blue.

        Those are black pens.

3. 称呼的表示及辨析：

(1)Mr. 先生；

(2)Miss小姐；

(3)Ms.夫人；

(4)Madam女士；

(5)Sir先生

e.g. This is Miss Li.

        That is Mr. Smith.

4. 表示“……的”介词的用法及辨析：

(1)介词of，意为“……的”，表所属关系；

e.g. a picture of me

        = my picture

        a book of Tom

        = Tom’s book

(2)介词to，意为“……的”，表对应关系；

e.g. the key to the door门的钥匙

        the way to the hospital去医院的路

        the answer to the question问题的答案

(3) 连字符：表示时间，距离，金钱，度量的名词可以和数词一起组成定语的复合结构；

e.g. a three-year study 三年的研究

        =a study of three years

        =a three years’ study

        an eight-year-old boy一个八岁的男孩

        a seven-day holiday为期七天的假期

(4)这几种表示“……的”的形式有时候可以相互转换。
