1) at all costs 不惜一切代价

他是哪种为了追求梦想而不惜一切代价的人，他甚至可以放弃朋友，家人和爱情。
Remark:
完全等价于中文的“不惜一切代价”，常用在一个人有很大决心要达成一些难以实现的事情，内心坚定且重视以至于不惜一切代价。比如，为了女人，为了梦想，为了家，为了国家，为了成功…do sth at all costs. 不惜一切代价做某事。
2) all my life 一生，一辈子
① All my life, I do my best to make myself and the people I love happy.
我这辈子一直尽力让我自己和我爱的人开心。
② The greatest lie on earth is that " I will love you all my life."
世界上最大谎言就是“我爱你，一辈子”
Remark:
描述一些会贯穿人生大部分时间的事物，比如家乡，伴侣，家人，习俗，习惯等等。最常见于我们发出誓言的时候：”我这辈子，这一生，都只....”
3) happen to 碰巧
① I happened to run into her in the bookstore ten years ago.
十年前，我在书店上碰巧遇到了她。
② This shit could happen to anyone, but it happened to me. Damn it!!
这种狗屎可能发生在任何人身上，但却碰巧发生在我身上了，我去！
Remark:
描述小概率事件的发生，接近中文“碰巧”之意，但有更多丰富的含义，如描述可能性“Could happen to anyone." "If anything should happen to him, who takes the responsibilities? you??".
