ESA/NASA's Solar Orbiter Snap Closest Pictures of the Sun

The first images from ESA/NASA’s Solar Orbiter are now available to the public, including the closest pictures ever taken of the Sun.

Solar Orbiter is an international collaboration between the European Space Agency, or ESA, and NASA, to study our closest star, the Sun. Launched on Feb. 9, 2020 (EST), the spacecraft completed its first close pass of the Sun in mid-June. 太阳轨道飞行器是ESA和NASA共同探究离我们最近的星体太阳的一次国际合作。航天器在2020.2.9起飞，在六月中旬完成了它的第一次近距离经过太阳的任务。
