Dear diary, I just wanted to write my diary so here it is.

Today is the best day! Well I came from Arizona and my parents are dead, a young lady came to my house's ruins and brought me to Ship Station. A lady named Diana came and took me back to her house and explained to her husband. I think his name is Steve. Oh and besides, I am 10 now. Diana bought me lots of clothes. She said : " There, wear these and tomorrow get ready for Sunday school. " Wait, I have to go to Sunday school? Well I should just be happy for my new family.
I heard Diana and Steve say they wanted a boy, I should ask them if I can stay at White Sands tomorrow.

I asked Diana if I can stay and she said she's thinking about it. The day started, first Steve gave me 1 cent for Sunday school collection and Diana gave me some fruits in a basket, just like that I went to school like a pilgrim,

When I got to school I gave my cent and studied. At the start of class I saw a boy named Roy wink at me! Urgh, isn't that improper? But the day didn't start yet. Roy was trying to make me look at him. He shouts : " Chestnut! Chestnut!" Urgh kid, where are your manners? Even if my hair is a chestnut color you still can't say that! I lost it, I took my cards and smashed it on his head. Teacher made me say sorry but my heart was burning. Then I heard Roy at the end of the day say : " Teacher don't scold Lucy, it was me who called her chestnut. " I went home and ate dinner, said my prayers and went to bed.
