2022-6-23早起学习-翻译《世界雨林日》

参加了莎丽老师的晨读营，老师对我的要求是看过的文章做retell。感觉不是容易的事情，张口能来，但不能听，说起来自己都感觉听不下去。太磕绊。所以也没有发老师，心里甚是overwhelm.

早起把老师昨晚让我看的文章翻译了出来，看的时候觉得容易，没有生词，但要写出翻译的时候发现，很多词都吃不准用法。

不得不录入了一堆的模糊词汇。

练习如下：

WORLD RAINFOREST DAY

June 22 is World Rainforest Day. The day has been set aside to help protect rainforests by raising awareness and encouraging action to protect them.

Organizers of this annual day say 20% of the oxygen we breathe and the freshwater we drink is attributed to rainforests of the Amazon. They absorb carbon dioxide, stabilize climate patterns, and are home to half the world’s plant and animal species. The concern of organizers is that an area the size of 40 football fields is lost every minute of every day.

The rainforests are keeping our planet alive. They’re home to half the world’s animal species, they provide us with freshwater, and are essential for keeping our climate stable. Yet every second, one and a half hectares is lost, while each year, 78 million hectares of precious rainforest are destroyed. That’s why World Rainforest Day has been created to take decisive action to combat deforestation, reduce the effects of climate change, and protect our rainforests for future generations.

世界雨林日

6月22日是世界雨林日。指定这一天，是为了帮助人们提高保护雨林的意识，鼓励人们为保护雨林采取行动。

每年的这一天，组织者们都会（向人们）表示（强调）:我们所呼吸的氧气以及我们引用的淡水，20%（归因于）来自亚马逊的雨林。它们吸收二氧化碳，稳定气候模式，还是世界上一半动植物（种）的家园。

而现在这块占地面积足有40个足球场大小的土地正在慢慢消失成了组织者们最关心的事。

雨林让我们的星球有生气（保持活跃），雨林是世界上一半动物物种的家园，雨林为我们提供淡水，雨林还是保持气候稳定的根本。

但现在每一秒钟都在损失1.5公顷雨林，每一年，就会损失7800万公顷珍贵的雨林。这就是为什么要创立世界雨林日，为了采取具体行动，为了森林开伐做斗争，为了减少气候变化的影响，为了我们的后代而保护雨林。

世界上有很多人都在为我们负重前行，我们也多多采取行动，小到可以每天节约有水用水，从我做起，做身边入手
