From this picture, we can conjecture that two person in the picture failed to fulfil the task, but they decided to embellish the truth by using the excuse of temporarily postponing their success instead of telling the truth directly and giving an explanation sincerely.
As a matter of fact, I do not agree with them. In my opinion, they should inform people forwardly that they did not succeed in finishing the task, then they will try their best to accomplish the task successfully. In other words, they should face the reality and confront the failure bravely. If they only tell people they decide to temporarily postpone their success, they will slow down their efforts easily. After all, they did not offer a definite deadline to others. If things continue this way, it means that the task will be put off all along and they could not complete the task. However, when they face the reality and declare the failure honestly, they can obtain a driving force that encourages them to devote themselves in making progress in the work until they achieve victory.
Therefore, I do not think the words said by the two persons in the picture deserve recognition. They should face the reality and confront the failure bravely.
