He was born in France.

He was eager to acquire knowledge that could be sought in the great book of the world. Shortly afterward he started a new journey, even joined the army and engaged in some battles.
He met one influential teacher, Dutch philosopher Isaac Beeckman, during his travels.
he said: ”It is not enough to have a good mind; the main thing is to use it well.” But his most well-known quote is “I think; therefore I am.”
He published the book, Meditations on First Philosophy and Principles of Philosophy(第一哲学沉思录).
He created his philosophical system to help people understand what is true.
He is considered by people as the father of modern philosophy.
