Now, I will tell you the origin of the holiday, an interesting history. It started in early 1600's after the settlers arrived in the wild new country. The people who came from European didn't know how to survive in the wild new country. And then some then American Indians showed them how to hurt turkey and grow corn. In the fall, they got enough food and then they can survive in the new place.
As you probably guessed, the graceful setters invited Indians to eat a great feast for their help. Today, the tradition continues, on Thanksgiving day, Americans will invite their families, friends and neighbours over for a turkey dinner and give thanks what they have.
