演讲的力量

    站在讲台上，迫切想提升的不是专业知识，而是演讲的能力。回想在头马的一段日子，虽短暂却珍贵，因为一些原因，最后退出了，现在想来真是有些遗憾。如果一直坚持到现在，我的演讲能力肯定提升不少了吧，教学上不论大小比赛，我应该都不会太过怯场吧。

      浏览生活中记录的点滴，发现曾经在准备头马演讲时的草稿，心中又燃起了继续学习演讲的一团火。总是以没有时间为借口，其实只不过还是害怕那个不完美的自己暴露在大众面前。

      附上我一年前在头马第一次的英文演讲稿（中文草稿）：

      周末是休息日，大家为什么要放弃休息来到头马呢？头马能给你带来什么？

      我想今天你来到了这里，是头马的力量，更是演讲的力量。

      早在古希腊，那里的公民就有演讲课，为了让公民更好的参政，演讲是一个希腊公民必备的素质。国家会请优秀的老师教学生修辞学雄辨术。在台湾和西方，总统竞选都需要辩论演讲，演讲是一个从政者必备的素质。美国总统竞选一次就要至少54次的正式演讲。

      历史上，有很多著名的演讲改变了世界。英国首相丘吉尔的I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat激励士兵们最后赢得了不列颠之战

      1963年，在林肯纪念堂面前，有一个人用一篇《我有一个梦想》大大推进了黑人运动的进程，他的名字叫马丁路德金，他用演讲改变了无数黑人的命运。

      现今， 每个月1亿点击量的Ted,传播全球新的思想，可以说影响了整个人类进程。

      在我读大学的时候，新东方的王强老师来到学校给我们做了一场精彩的演讲，成为我大学里学习英语强大的动力，我希望有一天也能和他一样站在讲台上这样演讲，影响一个又一个学生。

      今天，我成为了一个老师，但是离一个理想中的老师差的太远，很遗憾，直到今天我的演讲都很糟糕，可是也正是演讲的力量让我克服内心的恐惧和紧张来参加Tostmaster演讲，站在这里用我蹩脚的英语去挑战自己。我深信演讲可以改变自己，自己改变了，这个世界就会改变。谢谢在做各位的倾听，谢谢大家给我勇气和信心。谢谢。

            Why do you give up your free  time to Toastmaster?  you came here today, it is the power of the Toastmaster, it’s the power of speech.Today My topic is the power of speech.

As early as ancient Greece, where the citizens have lectures, in order to allow citizens to better participate in politics, the speech is a Greek citizen essential qualities. The country will ask the best teachers to teach students to rhetoric. In the West, the presidential campaign needs  speech, the speech is a necessary quality of the politicians. Do you know the president Obama  campaign once ,how many  formal public  speeches  he should make ? at least 54 times.He was good at  making speeches that helped him win the votes.

In the history,there are many famous speeches have changed the world.British Prime Minister Winston Churchill ,his speech "I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat. "inspired the British to win the victory of the Battle of Britain.

In 1963, in front of the Lincoln Memorial Hall, a man with a public speaking "I have a dream" greatly promoted the process of the black movement, his name is Martin Luther King, his  changed  the fate of countless blacks.

Today,Ted talks ,100 million hits per month，spreads  new ideas,affecting  the whole process of mankind. It's the power of speech.

When I was in college, the teacher of the New Oriental School  Wang Qiang came to the school to give us a wonderful speech, I became a strong motivation to learn English in college, I hope that one day I can make a wonderful speech  like  him, affecting  thousdands of  students.

Today, I became a teacher, but it was too far from  the ideal teacher in my heart. Unfortunately, until now my speech was terrible, but it was the power of the speech that made me overcome my inner fear and tension to attend Tostmaster Speaking, standing  here with my bad English to challenge myself. I am convinced that the speech can change myself and change the world. Because only you have changed, the world will change.
