Georgia Among Top 15 Countries For Solo Travelling

According to UseBounce 2021 Solo Travel Index, Georgia is ranked 13th among the countries that are most suitable for traveling alone.

The methodological research, conducted by usebounce.com, is based on various data obtained from online articles and lists. The criteria of the study include indicators such as things to do, accommodation, affordability, accommodation, safety and weather. To be more precise, the Index measures the score for each country by attractions, bars, restaurants, group activities, tour guides, the cost of using public transport, the number and average cost of hotels for night, score of crime and safety index, average temperature degrees and indicator of annual rainfall.

As UseBounce reports, the final score for all countries was calculated by taking an average from all indicators. The maximum score given by UseBounce equals 10. Iceland (7.29), Malta (6.34) and Portugal (6.21) lead the list. Georgia comes 13th with a 3.41 overall score.

It should be noted that, according to the Index, Georgia especially stands out in terms of the number of group activities and tour guides listed on Tripadvisor, per 100,000 people. In addition, it should be also remarked that Georgia came 4th in safety indicator.
