让希望永存

超凡2里摘格温的毕业演讲。

Good morning, esteemed faculty and families of my fellow graduates. It's an honor to be standing up here today. I know that we all think we're immortal, we're supposed to feel that way, we're graduating. The future is and should be bright, but, like our brief four years in high school, what makes life valuable is that it doesn't last forever, what makes it precious is that it ends. I know that now more than ever. And I say it today of all days to remind us that time is luck. So don't waste it living someone else's life, make yours count for something. Fight for what matters to you, no matter what. Because even if you fall short, what better way is there to live?

It’s easy to feel hopeful on a beautiful day like today. But there will be dark days ahead of us too. There will be days where you feel all alone. And that’s when hope is needed most. No matter how buried it gets, or how lost you feel, you must promise me that you will hold on to hope. Keep it alive. We have to be greater than what we suffer. My wish for you is to become hope. People need that. And even if we fail, what better way is there to live? As we look around here today, at all of the people who helped make us who we are, I know it feels like we’re saying goodbye. But we will carry a piece of each other into everything that we do next. To remind us of who we are, and who we are meant to be. I’ve had a great four years with you, and I will miss you all very much.

早上好，尊敬的各位老师及毕业生家长们。我很荣幸今天能站在这里。 我们总以为青春是永驻的。多么理所当然的想法。可今天我们毕业了，如同这四年短暂的高中时光，生命的价值也恰恰在于它并非永垂不朽。生命因其有限而可贵。现在的我深有体会。我之所以要在今天说这些，是想提醒大家，生即幸福。不要浪费生命为别人而活，要活出你自己的意义，为你珍视的事物奋斗，心无旁骛。即便最后未能如愿，至少我们也曾精彩地活过。

在今天这样晴朗的日子里很容易让人产生希望。但人生的道路上也会有阴郁的日子。有让你觉得孤独的日子。这种时候才更要怀揣希望。不管有多遥不可及，不管有多痛苦失落。请向我保证，你都不会放弃希望。让希望永存。我们要从痛苦中收获坚强。我对你们的希望是，成为他人的希望。人们需要希望。即便不能如愿，至少我们也曾精彩的活过。今天我们环视四周，所有我们帮助过的人造就了今天的我们。今天我们似乎就此分别，但我们未来做的每一件事里都会有彼此的影子。提醒自己我是谁，我想成为谁。我与诸位共度了美好的四年，我会想念你们所有人。
