Adam Riess from John Hopkins University made a calculation of the Hubble constant, and it is 9% higher than the previous calculation. According to the new figure of 74, the age of our universe is between 12.5 billion to 13 billion years old, which is a billion years younger than the earlier estimate. Scientists think both calculations are correct, and that would mean there are certain natures of the universe we haven't discovered.

Johns Hopkins University 的 Adam Riess 计算了Hubble常数，得出来比以前的计算高出9%。按照新得出来的74，宇宙的年纪大概在125亿到130亿年，比以前的估算年轻了10亿年。科学家认为两个计算都是正确的，如果是这样的话，那就说明我们还有对宇宙不了解的地方。
