subject and verb Agreement

my dog and my cat like cat food.

我的狗和我的猫都爱吃猫粮。

my dog [as well as my cat] likes cat food.

我的狗，像我的猫一样地，爱吃猫粮。

类似的， along with, together with.

My uncle [along with|together with] his seven daughters is on the way to Vancouver.

我叔叔[他的七个女儿一起地]在来温哥华的路上。

这些词是修饰词，不是连接词，所以，如果主语是单数，谓语动词一定要选择单数。
