2. 场景1)：裁员和缺乏专业技能使他的生活很糟糕。

造句1)：Layoff and lack of a professional skill leave him in a terrible life .

Part II. 笔记：

leave：If an event leaves people or things in a particular state, they are in that state When the event has finished.

注意两点：

1. 当leave 表示“造成”和“导致”时，通常后面接的都是负面内容。可以替换cause 和make.

2. the event has finished.

3. leave someone or something后面可以接形容词，也可以接介词短语。

例句：

1. The accident left him crippled.

这个事故导致他的腿跛了。

2. A horrific accident left him in paralyzed from neck.

一场恐怖的车祸导致他全身瘫痪，颈部以下全都不能活动。

3. His eloquent words leave me speechless.

他说服了我。

4. The book left me in shock and anger.

这本书令我震惊愤怒。
