Five ways to maintain a good moo

    When getting home after a day's work, many office workers are exhausted and don't expect the next day's work. An article on the website of Fast Company offers five concrete suggestions to make you feel happy after a day's work.

    First, break down your goals. If your goal seems far away or too big to accomplish in a day, you are likely to feel anxious about it. According to psychologist Jamie Gruman, you can break your high and lofty goals into small, achievable goals in the morning.  Setting up sub-goals will make you feel more confident because you can better monitor your progress.

    Second, record your achievements. One of the reasons why we tend to feel imperfect at the end of the day is that we completely forget what we have done. Therefore, Grumman suggests that you keep track of the tasks you accomplish during the day, as well as the tasks you make progress.

    Third, leave a simple task for the next day. At the end of the day, Grumman likes to move a project that takes no more than 15 minutes to the beginning of the next day. "By that way, when I start the next day, I can easily finish this task and achieve it," he said.

    Starting a new day consciously with simple tasks can help motivate you on that day. This means that you don't have to waste time in the morning thinking about the problem you're going to solve. You already have a task waiting for you, and you know it's easy to fulfill.

    Fourth, seek feedback. Feedback is the best way to make sure you are making progress. You can search for feedback from superiors, colleagues as well as customers. Normally speaking, you're frustrated that you haven't made enough progress,but people around you feel you're on the right track.

    Fifth, be kind to yourself and set new goals when necessary. If you find yourself often facing a list of tasks at the end of the day, you need to spread these tasks over a longer period of time or spend some time re-examining your goals. "We often plan things in a perfectly ideal world(完美观念世界) , but we can't execute them in a perfect world of the actual(完美现实世界)," Grumman said.
