When will the writer see the play?

The play may begin at any time moment, I said

It may have begun now already, Susan said.

I hurried to the ticket office, and asked the girl,"May I have two tickets please"

"Sorry, We've sold out",she answered.

What a pity, Susan exclaimed.

At that moment Just then, a man hurried to the ticket office and said" May I return these two tickets please"

Sure.

Then I returned back to the ticket office and asked the girl,"May I have those two tickets"

"Certainly." she answered, "But they're for next Wednesday's performance, do you still want them?

I might as well have them , i said sadly.

    'I'm sorry, we've sold out,' the girl said.

    'What a pity!' Susan exclaimed.

    Just then, a man hurried to the ticket office.

    'Can I return these two tickets?' he asked.

    'Certainly,' the girl said.

    I went back to the ticket office at once.

    'Could I have those two tickets please?' I asked.

    'Certainly,' the girl said, 'but they're for next Wednesday's performance. Do you still want them?'

    'I might as well have them,' I said sadly.

知识笔记：

1./ʌ/ ： 舌端离下齿，舌尖轻抵下齿，舌中部稍稍抬起，整个舌身在口腔处于低平状态，这是中元音中舌位最低的一个。双唇扁平，发音时有点像发啊被突然卡住一样，所以是短音啊，短促有力，收小腹。美音中/ʌ/与英音/ʌ/稍有区别，发音时最张的比英音/ʌ/小，更靠近英音中的/ə/。

2./æ/：双唇向两边平伸，张开嘴，上下齿之间可以容纳食指加中指尖，嘴唇放松；舌尖轻抵下齿，舌前部微微抬起，发音时，逐渐压低舌头和下颚，尽可能夸张，这个音属于短元音，但实际发音中有相当的长度。

3./e/：嘴唇向两侧微微分开，上下齿之间可以容下一个小指头的距离，舌尖轻抵下齿背，舌尖微微抬起。

4./æ/与/e/区别：前者口型大于后者，可容纳食指加中指，后者是小指尖；前者舌尖抵住下齿，后者抵住下齿背（这个我开始也觉得区别不大，但是细细体会，发现，所谓前者是前元音中舌位最低的，就差别在这里，舌尖抵住下齿会比抵住下齿背舌位低一些）；

练习感悟：

必须承认自己并不聪明，所以，很多时候的练习，总会比别人耗时耗力，如果耐心不足，真的不知道可以坚持多久，还好还在有效地行动，还在继续。
