strike the hours

if a clock strikes the hour, it shows that it is exactly one o’clock, two o’clock etc by making a sound once, twice etc

torch    put sth to the torch = to set fire to sth deliberately

v. 1.~ sth  to set fire to a building or vehicle deliberately in order to destroy it

n. 1.a small electric lamp that uses batteries and that you can hold in your hand

    2. a long piece of wood that has material at one end that is set on fire and that people carry to give light

练习感悟：

第二遍遇到vicar这个单词了，还是不太记得是什么意思！！还有strike the hours~ 这一遍用英语来解释，感觉理解的比较到位。一直看到PyTorch，其中的torch居然是这个意思 。。
