My dear friends:
Firstly,I’d like to say that you are reading this letter because you are a friend I cherish or a classmate I care about. I have an important piece of news to announce: I will speak English only in half a year. It means I can only speak English, no Chinese at all in daily life. You may have confusion about this, so I wrote this letter to you, hoping that you could understand why I am speaking English only to everyone.
我亲爱的朋友：
首先，我想说，你在读这封信是因为你是我珍惜和重视的朋友或同学。我有一个很重要的消息要宣布：我要在接下来的半年时间里进行全英文计划了，这意味着我将在日常生活中只说英文，不讲汉语。你可能会对这个消息感到很困惑，所以我才写了这封信，希望你能理解我为什么对每个人只说英语。
Secondly, I will explain why I will start my English only plan. Reason NO.1: I want to improve my oral English which is so important for my future. English only plan let me form a way of English thinking. I have learned English about 10 years, but I can not even say a word fluently, so I wanna change the way to learn English. I do believe that it is a right way to learn oral English well. Reason NO.2：I wanna become more active, brave, and confident. Speaking English only means that I ask for trouble, but there is a saying that troubles make me stronger. As a young person, I would like to meet challenges which can change my shortcomings. So I tell myself, just do it. Reason NO.3: I wanna get the passion for English and life. I love English, I do. I bet you also know how good it is to do something that you really love.
其次，我想解释一下，我为什么要进行全英计划。原因一：我想提高英语口语，因为它对我未来的发展非常非常重要。全英文计划可以让我锻炼一种英语思维，我学习英语将近10年了，可是还是不能流利的说出一句话来，所以我想改变之前学习英语的方法，我也坚信全英是一种正确的方法把口语练好。原因二：我想变得更加的积极勇敢自信，而全英文就意味着我是在自找麻烦，但有一句话说困难可以让我内心变得更加强大。作为一个年轻人，我愿意来接受那些可以改变我缺点的挑战。所以我告诉我自己，大胆去做自己想做的。原因三：我想通过这种方式找到对英语学习和生活的热情。我喜欢英语，我想你们一定也能体会到那种做自己喜欢的事情时棒极了的感觉。
Lastly, there are many reasons that I speak English only, but none of them means that I wanna show off my English. It is just a way of learning English, just one special way, one way that you’ve never heard before. So I’d appreciate it if I can get your understanding and support. You are my friend, so I hope that we can still get along with each other as usual, or even better.
最后，我想说，说全英的原因有很多，但想炫耀英文绝对不是其中的一个，这只是一种你们从来没听过的英语学习方法而已。我期待能够得到你的理解和支持，因为你是我的朋友，同学。所以我希望我们的关系还能像往常一样或者更好。
