Lately, I've been engrossed in historical documentaries on YouTube centered around World War 2. Surprisingly, I had never really taken an interest in this era before. It always seemed too distant, both in terms of time and location. What sparked my curiosity, however, was a recent visit to the Churchill War Rooms, where pivotal meetings between Churchill and the Ministry of Defence took place, among other significant events. Additionally, a trip to Berlin, the capital of Germany, shed light on the tragic Holocaust that unfolded during the same period of the war.
Anyway, the documentaries are fascinating. The vivid images of British Primary Minister Winston Churchill and German high command Adolf Hitler came into your mind and unfold their stories. I cannot stop watching and feel that individuals are as small as a dirt in the universe among the history. Apart of that, gratitude is emerging to me as I realise what has been neglected by so many people---- peace and health. These two elements are always something I try to remind me of.
