Just as bell-bottoms, cornrows, and floppy hats have all had their peaks in popularity, so do names. Each year there's a new list of the "most popular baby names" released and if you're lucky (or not so lucky, depending on how you want to look at it), your name is on it.

This basically means that for the rest of your life in elementary school, middle school, high school, college, and work, you're going to meet a lot of people with the same name as you. This isn't a bad thing necessarily, just a fact of life.

每次看到一个和身边朋友同名的东西，我总会拿去调侃他（滑稽）。
