However, as the time goes by, scientists like Galileo and Newton overturned the theory. Newton's second law and the theory of gravity tell people that a body is not absolute rest. During the late 19th century and early 20th century, the study in electromagnetic fields released that the light travels at a high speed. Later the relativity given by Einstein ended the notion about absolute time.
