Currently, the issue of whether students should study into groups or alone is hard to judge, which leads to a heated debate in the society. Some teachers argue that organizing students to study in groups is valid, while others claim that students should study by themselves. Admittedly, I have to concede that when students meet flexible tasks such as reading articles or writing some simple essays. It is suitable for studying alone, because you have your own time in thinking quietly. One explanation is that you will not be affected by others or do not need to talk with others. According to a research, when people are working, the disturbed times mostly from their surrounding people, so studying alone decrease few times of unnecessary chatting. Another reason is that when people are studying alone, they may have few energy to do some long-term large experiments, but some simple tasks can be acceptable.
However, when students need to do the heavy flexible tasks, studying in groups is a wise choice. First of all, learning groups can bring a circumstance that can help put themselves into studying. Then, if a student has questions, he or she can ask other students in groups to solve the questions. Consequently, if someone makes in some learning tasks, other group members will point out, which an individual learner cannot have this kind of chance. Also, for group members, it is a learning process, because they can find others’ advantages. When they discuss and work together, they may be find some excellent people who they can learn from.
In conclusion, both statements mentioned above have benefits, but I do prefer studying in groups is more effective.
